Do you have BA Degree in accounting and Finance and related field?

Do you have experience in Five (5) years’ experience in partner Finance management?

Do you have experience in Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and donor compliance requirements?

The Role:

Oxfam {affiliate/} is looking for Finance Officer  who is  responsible for providing financial management and partnership support to ensure that partner organizations effectively manage donor funds in compliance with organizational policies, donor regulations, and statutory requirements and contributing to the successful delivery of projects and organizational objectives.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

 

ESSENTIAL

  • BA Degree in accounting and Finance and related field
  • Five (5) years’ experience in partner Finance management
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and donor compliance requirements
  • ability to review partner budgets, financial reports, fund requests, and liquidations accurately and within deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Reviews financial documents thoroughly to identify errors, inconsistencies, and compliance issues.
  • Good understanding of donor regulations and grant management requirements

 

In addition:

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive relationships with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Effectively prioritizes multiple assignments and consistently meets reporting deadlines.
  • Provides financial support, coaching, and capacity strengthening to partners.
  • Identifies financial risks and discrepancies and recommends practical solutions.

Desirable

  • Supports partners to strengthen their financial management capacity through coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback.
  • Encourages open dialogue to identify and resolve financial and operational issues collaboratively.
