  • Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Reports To: Primary School Deputy Principal
  • Works Closely With: Head of Education, Education Program Team, and fellow teaching staff

Key Responsibilities

As a teacher at Pharo School Assosa, you will:

Qualifications:

  • MSc/MA/BA/BSc in the relevant subject or a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with subject specialization
  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience (3 years for Performing/Visual Arts teachers), ideally in high-performing international or private schools
  • PGDT (Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching) – mandatory (for BSc 0r BA graduates)

Skills and Experience:

  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in using digital tools (Google Workspace, MS Office, etc.)
  • Demonstrated use of student-centered and tech-integrated teaching strategies
  • Strong grasp of data-driven instruction and assessment practices
  • Have excellent handwriting.
