Monitoring & Evaluation officer

Menschen für Menschen Foundation – is a nongovernmental, nonreligious and nonpartisan humanitarian organization involved in Integrated Rural Development activities and wishes to invite applicants with the following qualifications and experiences for Albuko Integrated Rural Development Project.

Position: Monitoring & Evaluation officer

Number required: 1 (one)

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Establishing and managing a performance monitoring framework with clear-cut goals, outcomes, outputs, inputs, processes, indicators, data needs and sources and reporting formats and frequency for effective monitoring reporting and updating progress of programme components in different sectors.
• Developing a comprehensive baseline of infrastructure provisions basic services and socio-economic conditions in the target area and collecting periodic data and information against the baseline to assess and report on the overall development of these areas. Baseline data will be collected through survey and review of existing information.
• Assisting the project Manager and Department Head in developing a work plan and overall monitoring framework.

Duty station: F Albuko Integrated Rural Development Project, (South Wollo Zone, Selmane Town).

Language: A good command of spoken & written English

Salary: Negotiable

Terms of Employment: Yearly renewable contract

Qualifications:

•  BSc. Degree in Agricultural Economics or Economics or Natural Resource or Statistics.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years and above experience in impact and performance evaluations.
