SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive Training Needs Assessments (TNA) across all branches and head office units Lead the institution’s performance management cycle, including target setting, monitoring, and annual appraisals.
- Lead the full performance management cycle from target setting and monitoring to annual appraisals ensuring all standards align with the Company’s Strategic Plan..
- Utilize performance appraisal data to identify skill gaps and design targeted training interventions to enhance staff productivity and close performance gaps.
- Design, develop, and facilitate high-impact training programs and workshops tailored to the microfinance sector, covering areas such as customer service, teller operations, and leadership development.
- Collaborate with department heads to design and implement career development plans, mentorship programs, and succession planning frameworks to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate end-to-end induction and orientation programs for new employees, ensuring immediate alignment with KHMFI’s institutional culture, values, and operational standards.
- Develop and maintain the institutional training manual and standardized operational procedures for staff capacity building.
- Formulate and manage the annual training and development budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and identifying external partnerships with consultants or educational institutions as needed.
- Oversee the maintenance of comprehensive training and performance records. Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and observation, providing analytical reports to Human Capital Manager for continuous improvement.
- Stay informed on microfinance industry trends, best practices, and modern pedagogical techniques to champion a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- BA Degree in Human Resource Management, Management or a related field.
- 4/6 years of relevant experience specifically within the microfinance industry.
TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS
- Strong instructional design, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
- Deep understanding of training methodology, performance management, and organizational development.
- Proven ability to translate business strategies into actionable learning initiatives.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data collection and reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- High sense of ethics, integrity, and commitment to staff empowerment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
