Job Description
Development through Adult and Non-Formal education (DANFE) is a local CSO established July 2004 by the number of Volunteers who were dedicated to support vulnerable community groups in the country. Since its establishment, it works both on Development and Humanitarian interventions. DANFE has been working in the area of Humanitarian support, Survivor centered protection and GBV service, Emergency education Response, , Humanitarian support for IDPs, Accelerated Learning program(ALP) for over-aged out of school children, Women Economic Empowerment, climate change resilient livelihoods, Peace building and conflict prevention,
Role and Responsibility
- Provide direct support to GBV survivors
- Conduct case management (intake, follow-up)
- Ensure confidentiality and safety
- Refer clients to health, legal, and psychosocial services
- Conduct home visits, community follow-up, and outreach activities when safe and appropriate.
- Coordination and Case Conferences
Salary: – As per as the organization scale
Project duration:-12 months (May 1,2026 – April 30,2027

Qualification
Education
- 1st Degree or Diploma in social work, psychology, sociology, or related field.
Experience
- 2-3 years Ability to work in field/humanitarian settings often with NGOs
Required skill
- Communication comprehensive needs and risk assessments.
- Provide structured case management from intake to case closure.
- Post-Rape Clinical Management
- Training in GBV guiding principles, survivor-centered approach, and confidentiality protocols.
- Knowledge of Ethiopian GBV referral pathways and legal frameworks.
- Strong active listening, crisis intervention, and documentation skills.
