Volunteer Inspirator

The inspirator will give due emphasis for increasing young women engagement in prevention of violence and response works and mobilize young people and community members for peace building and conflict transformation.

Key Activities

• Support young women from local GP to engage with WWG interventions.
• Organize campaign actions in schools and villages to reduce aggravating factors of violence and avoidance of harmful practices.
• Participate in youth focused committee and structure to ensure young women engagement.
• Provide ongoing mentorship and coaching on facilitation skills, advocacy and lobbying skills training for young women and youth.
• Support and facilitate peace dialogue sessions among young people.
• Continuous support of the WWG with documentation and facilitation of communication with respective bodies.
• Collaborate with young women peace ambassadors to promote peaceful coexistence among communities.
• Facilitate service provision for GBV survivors by linking and referring to one stop center
• Support mobilization of young people and community members for volunteer work and humanitarian response.
• Support young women to organize themselves in movement actions to challenge violence occurrence.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Degree graduate and preferable if it is from social science study
• Three years and above experience working with youth led organizations and young people
• Desirable knowledge and Experience
• Practical experience in coaching, mentoring and guidance skills
• Knowledge on OCAT/organizational capacity assessment tool, democracy and good governance, GRPS, social accountability and climate justice
• Familiar with policies and procedures of youth and climate change adaptation
• Have good working exposure with youth focused government offices
