FDRE MESOB Service, is a government-led one-stop service platform that integrates multiple public services into a single digital and physical hub, enabling citizens and businesses to access government services more efficiently, conveniently, and transparently.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Office Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to the CEO and Deputy CEO. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced executive environment. The ideal candidate acts as a key point of coordination, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the executive office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Executive Support
- Manage complex calendars, appointments, and scheduling for the CEO and Deputy CEO
- Coordinate meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups
- Handle confidential correspondence, reports, and documents with discretion
- Screen and prioritize emails, calls, and requests
Office Coordination
- Ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the executive office
- Organize travel arrangements, itineraries, and expense reports
- Maintain filing systems (digital and physical) for easy access and compliance
Communication & Liaison
- Serve as the first point of contact for the executive office
- Draft professional communications, presentations, and reports
- Coordinate executive-level meetings, events, and visits
Project & Task Management
- Track key projects and deadlines on behalf of executives
- Assist in preparing briefing materials and reports for strategic meetings
- Follow up on action items to ensure timely completion
Confidentiality & Professionalism
- Handle sensitive information with the highest level of integrity
- Maintain professionalism in all interactions, internally and externally
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Law, Social Science, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in an administrative or executive assistance role
- Proven experience supporting senior leadership or executives
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a corporate or fast-paced organizational environment
- Familiarity with project management tools and office systems
- Experience coordinating high-level meetings or board activities
Requirement
- Language: Amharic, English. (knowing other languages will be preferable)
