Job Description
Terms of Employment: Yearly renewable contract
Menschen fuer Menschen Foundation- wishes to invite applicants with the following qualification and experience for Kawo Koyisha Integrated Rural Development Project:
No. Required: 1 (One)
MAIN DUTIES:
- Identify study and design small scale irrigation & water supply schemes.
- Supervise all irrigation activities of the project and water supply.
- Produce design and bill of quantities for irrigation & water supply works
- Implement and supervise flood protection structures at river banks.
- Produce operational plan of action and organize reports on regular basis.
Qualification:
- BSc Degree or Advanced Diploma in Irrigation Engineering/ Water Resource Engineering or Agriculture Engineering or related field.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3years for Degree or 6 years’ for Diploma experience in Irrigation activities & water works.
- Ø NGO experience is advantageous.
Language:
- A good command of spoken and written English.
