An exciting vacant position has arisen at East Africa Bottling Share Company – Ethiopia for the role of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Technologist . Reporting to the Quality Assurance Technologist of Dire Dawa plant ,the GMP Technologist will be responsible for ensuring that all manufacturing and production processes comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. This role involves implementing, monitoring, and maintaining quality systems and procedures to uphold the highest levels of product quality, hygiene, and safety.

The successful candidate will support continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that operations consistently meet regulatory requirements and internal company standards, while delivering safe, high-quality products.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out microbiological tests.
  • Performed GMP audits.
  • Managed Sensory evaluation
  • Managed Lab supplies
  • Managed routines
  • Controlled non-conforming products and incoming raw material
  • Monitored product quality
  • Managed & Developed staff
  • Monitored plant CIP routines

Skills, Experience & Education

  • First Degree in Applied Biology, Food Microbiology with a  minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
