Finance Department Head

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Planning: Develop financial strategies to improve revenue, reduce costs, and ensure long-term sustainability.
• Oversee the organization’s financial health, strategy, and operations, including budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and financial reporting.
• Budgeting & Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and monitor annual budgets and forecasts. Produce monthly and annual financial statements.
• Cash Flow & Risk Management: Monitor cash flow to ensure stability and implement risk management frameworks to protect company assets.
• Compliance & Audit: Ensure all accounting procedures and financial activities comply with regulations, tax laws, and internal audits.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and lead the accounting and finance team.
• Decision Support: Provide strategic advice to the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Experience: 6+ years in finance, with at least 2–5 years in a management position.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Qualifications: CPA or similar professional certification is highly desirable.
• Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, Cnet).
