Job Description
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the job holder is responsible for planning, coordinating and facilitating the Monitoring & Evaluation Activities of the BRAVE / Mullata Keenya – Our Vision Project; Skills in designing and implementing M&E methods, Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Strong skills in designing and facilitating organizational learning processes, Strong people skills; considerable experience of collaborative work; positive attitude, pro-choice.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the project’s M&E plan, including tools, indicators, and data management systems aligned with the Results Framework and donor requirements.
- Coordinate need assessments, including Health Facility , Accountability and other assessments and other in collaboration with FGAE’s team and other partners.
- Regularly collect, verify, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data across all project components (SRHR, gender, inclusion, climate, youth engagement).
- Ensure data quality through routine validation, field checks, and supportive supervision of partners and field staff.
- Prepare and submit timely M&E reports and updates for internal review, donor reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Support the Project Manager in adaptive management by providing insights on progress, challenges, gaps, and lessons learned.
- Lead the documentation of success stories, case studies, and best practices for learning and advocacy.
- Facilitate participatory M&E processes, including engagement of adolescents, youth, and persons with disabilities in data collection and feedback mechanisms.
- Build the M&E capacity of project staff, partners, and community structures through training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Maintain and update digital and physical M&E databases, ensuring data security and accessibility.
- Represent the project in relevant M&E technical working groups, clusters, and coordination platforms at woreda, zonal, and regional levels.
- Ensure compliance with Plan FGAE and donor’s MEAL standards and safeguarding principles in all M&E activities.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or supervisor.

Language & Contextual Knowledge Requirement:
- Proficiency in local languages (Afan Oromo) and English; knowledge of sign language is an asset and Familiarity with West Hararge Zone or similar socio-cultural and geographic contexts is desirable
Additional Requirement
- Having a motorbike driving license is advantageous
About You
Minimum Required Qualification:
- MA/MSc/BA/BSc degree in Statistics, Health, Health Informatics, HO/Nursing , economics, social science or other related fields;
Minimum Years of Relevant Experience:
- 3 Years for MA/MSc and 5 years for BA/BSc degree; shall possess experience implementing SRHR, gender, youth, or community-based projects, preferably with CSO, or government in Ethiopia.
- Experience working with adolescents, youth, persons with disabilities, and marginalized communities in rural settings.
