Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Organization: Professional Alliance for Development (PADet)
Deadline: January 5, 2026
Job Description
Professional Alliance for Development/PADet
Invitation for Development of a Short Video on Rights and Service Delivery
Background
Professional Alliance for Development/PADet is an indigenous, non-partisan, non-governmental organization established in 1998 with the main objectives of improving the situation of poor and vulnerable children, youth, and women through implementing programs of Food Security and Livelihood, Peace Building, RH/HIV/AIDS, Social Accountability, Gender Equality and Women Empowerment and Child Protection/Development. The organization has several programs in Oromia, Amhara and Afar regions and in Addis Ababa city administration.
Professional Alliance for Development (PADet), in partnership with UNDP, is implementing the project: Future-Smart: Transforming the Public Sector for Improved Service Delivery at Bole woreda 7. The project aims to strengthen inclusive public service delivery, particularly for persons with disabilities, pregnant women, and women with children. An essential component of this project is to enhance public awareness and community engagement regarding the rights of people with disability and the standards of public service delivery. Many community members, particularly vulnerable groups, remain unaware of their rights to fair, accessible, and people with disabilities-sensitive services.
Producing a short advocacy and educational video will help communicate these messages widely and in an accessible format. The video will promote transparency, inclusion, and accountability while showcasing positive examples of improved public service practices.
OBJECTIVES OF THE SERVICE / WORK
To produce a high-quality, informative, and engaging short video that raises awareness about the rights of People with Disabilities (PwDs), highlights service delivery standards and showcases the types of services available at designated facilities, including the specific rooms or locations where these services can be accessed.
The video will be suitable for broadcast on television during official working hours and will be fully accessible through the inclusion of sign language interpretation. The content and presentation will align with UNDP and PADet communication and branding strategies, ensuring accuracy, inclusivity, and consistency with institutional messaging.
