Job Description

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)

The International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC) has received a four-year project grant from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the European Union. The project is entitled “Transform Soil Fertility Management in Ethiopia”. IFDC will implement the program in partnership with local and international organizations. The purpose of the project is to transform soil health and fertility management to sustainably increase the productivity of 100,000 small-scale food producers and improve the sustainable use of 65,000 hectares of farmland.

Proposals shall be reviewed and evaluated based on completeness, compliance, and responsiveness with the requirements of the RFP and all other annexes providing details of IFDC requirements. IFDC reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of the bids at any time, regardless of providing reasons for doing so.

About You

IFDC invites interested and experienced consultant to offer Technical and Financial Proposals to conduct a Agricultural Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ATVET) Curriculum Assessment in relation to Participatory Integrated Planning (PIP) and integrated soil fertility management (ISFM) contents in Ethiopia. Details about the assessment can be found in the Terms of Reference (ToR).

Bidders can get the ToR by writing an email request to: procurementethiopia@ifdc.org. The Technical Proposal shall be emailed in soft copy (both Word and PDF file formats) to: procurementethiopia@ifdc.org and the financial proposal shall be submitted in hard copy in a sealed envelopes: deadline for submission is November 28, 2025.

Proposals must be written in English and shall remain the responsibility of the consultant to ensure that they reach the address via indicated method of submission on or before the deadline.

Proposals that are received by IFDC after the deadline indicated above, for whatever reason, shall not be considered for evaluation.
