Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Secondary Deputy Principal to lead Pharo School in Assosa, Ethiopia. This is a unique opportunity for a strong educational leader to make a deep and lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to ensure high standards in academic achievement, student well-being, and staff development
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the school, including curriculum delivery, budgeting, staffing, and school policies
  • Build and sustain a positive, inclusive, and high-performing school culture
  • Lead performance evaluations and professional development for staff
  • Ensure compliance with national standards and Pharo Foundation’s education policies
  • Foster strong engagement with parents, the community, and external stakeholders

About You

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field
  • Minimum 6+ years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven success in leading and managing school teams and improving educational outcomes
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in using educational and administrative digital tools
