Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Executes all maintenance activities safely and OTIF.
- Executes legal-related maintenance tasks safely and OTIF.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed during any maintenance activities and ensure other to stick to the standard (LOTO, Minor intervention procedures)
- Executes all maintenance activities OTIF as per quality maintenance standards.
- Perform maintenance considering food safety standards (HACCP)
- Executes all planned/corrective maintenance.
- Coaches, trains, and conducts CILT execution audit to support the operators.
- Perform Tagging/detagging in his/her areas of machines.
- Spots and rectifies performance issues of equipment during the zonal tour.
- Attends production shift handover meeting (knows OPI losses).
- Ensure change-over management is in place.
- Assists operators at fine fine-tuning and adjusting machines (change over).
- Hands over equipment after maintenance execution to the operator; places tag for follow-up work order.
- Executes Lock Out Tag Out Try Out procedures.
- Executes maintenance not able to be done by operators; informs the duty engineer if a> 15-minute stop.
- Uses ‘dead time’ as instruction time (own skills or operators).
- Execute Overhaul maintenance on the machine he has been assigned.
- Prepare a list of critical, wearing, and tearing parts of designated zone machines
- Support in the identification and preparation of critical risk spare parts.
- Execute maintenance work orders and register in the maintenance control system.
- Updating the maintenance standards (HACS) whenever required.
- Organize the workplace, documentation, and toolboxes according to the 5S standards.
- Coach and support Technicians and operators
- Ensure the MTBX/MTTR eradication is structural.
- Communicates and cooperates with operations before, during, and after maintenance.
- Continuously learning from maintenance technicians to improve his/her troubleshooting skill and maintain frequent failures in an efficient way.
- Transferring the maintenance task to the technicians and operators.
- Conduct maintenance planning, collaborating with the maintenance planner
- Applies structured fault-finding procedures; collects spare parts or organizes for his team to apply structured fault-finding, including training/mentoring.
- Participates in RCFA/BDA (5 why) or organizes for his/her team to participate, including training/mentoring.
- Keep maintenance areas organized (5S).
- Support and coach the technician and operator for higher-level countermeasures aiming for elimination, and follow the defined countermeasures
- Lead and participate in APM 0-3/APM 4-5 roll-out team and improvements
- CMMS utilization and create RCFA/BDA sheet. Defines follow-up work (after solving).
- Utilizing available digital tools relevant to his/her job.
Job Requirements
Education
- BSc. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Equivalent (Vocational Education)
Experience and skills required
- 4 years and above working in maintenance
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and technical machine knowledge.
