Job Description

Menschen für Menschen Foundation is a nongovernmental, nonreligious and nonpartisan humanitarian organization involved in Integrated Rural Development activities and Project Coordination Office (PCO) wishes to invite applicants with the following qualifications and experiences.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receives approved requisitions and collect pro-forma invoices.
  • Purchases materials, supplies, equipment’s and services as per MfM purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Submits all purchase items to the storekeeper through official documents of the Foundation.
  • Collects and maintains current information regarding sources, prices, and specifications of goods and services.
  • Maintains records of all purchase transactions.

TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS:

  • Excellent vehicle driving skill
  • Responsible, trustworthy and reliable.
  • Keen observation abilities and alertness.
  • Good organizational and communications skill.

Language:

  • A good command of speaking & writing Amharic and English

Terms of Employment:

  • Yearly renewable contract

Qualifications:

  •  College Diploma or above in Purchasing/Procurement & Supplies Management/ Management/Accounting or related field and 3rd Grade Driving License is compulsory.

Work Experience:

  •  Minimum of 4 years’ experience in procurement activities and a minimum of 2 years driving experience is required.
