Job Description

Best Western Premier Hotel is a 4-Star upscale Hotel, part of Best Western Group, an International Hotel Chain, located In front INSA Wollo Sefer area, about 3 km away from Bole International Airport. The hotel is looking for qualified candidates for the following positions.

Requirements

  • Manage and maintain group and transient inventory controls
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust sales and pricing strategies
  • Provide critical analysis of strategies, room statistics, and demand factors
  • Conduct competitive and demand analysis
  • Maintain distribution channel data integrity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel.
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) such as Opera, Cloud-based PMS.
  • Strong knowledge of channel management tools and online booking platforms.
  • Ability to analyse occupancy rates, ADR (Average Daily Rate), RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room).
  • Maximize hotel revenue by forecasting demand and adjusting room rates.
  • Manage reservations team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies based on market trends.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing departments to attract corporate and leisure clients.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly revenue reports for management.
  • Ensure that all room statistics reports, including the financial statement, and any other related reports are accurate and consistent
  • In general, perform any other duties that might requested by the Front Office Manager.
  • Perform revenue management service for a select group of hotels.
  • Manage all aspects of rate & inventory management as outlined in the services contract.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Specialized hotel software (e.g., Opera).
  • Courses in statistics, finance, and data analysis are highly valued.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in reservation systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
