- Supervise and support childrens play activities in the morning and afternoon, 5 days/week by making sure that health and safety regulations are understood and followed
- Ensure a safe and child-friendly atmosphere within the Child Friendly Space and facilitate conduction of variety of games and activities within the Child Friendly Space, catering to the needs of children of different ages, genders, and abilities
- Screen for and monitor protection needs and gaps in and around the Child-Friendly Spaces/centres and Ensure referral systems are followed when Child protection cases are identified within the CFS/centre
- Conduct activity based life skills sessions and recreational activities in the Child Friendly Spaces by ensuring the participation of all groups of children, especially children who are the most vulnerable
- Prepare weekly schedule and report of activities conducted in the CFS
Qualification required: BA degree in social work, sociology, Psychology and related fields.
Work Experience required: Minimum of one-year experience with background on working in some sort of recreational activities, socials activities, desirable facilitation skills, Direct case management and experience working with children, is an asset. Knowledge and experience on Child protection programming including Safeguarding is an asset.
