Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare an annual action plan and budget for the office.
  • Prepare and submit work reports quarterly, bi-annually and annually.
  • Organizes and administers the records, registration and graduation functions, including transcript evaluations, admissions and certification process in order to provide maximum service to students,
  • Participates and serves as part of the Student Services Team.
  • Supervises, coordinates, and evaluates certification of all graduation applications, while overseeing the complete graduation process to include all elements of the rehearsal and ceremony.
  • Responsible for collecting, recording, maintaining and reporting of student records ,
  • Provides leadership and develop appropriate recommendations for the implementation of related technology application in support of enhanced services offered through Registration and Records
  • Develops and administers the budget of the registrar,
  • Provides timely solution for student disputes related to records and registration,
  • Collaborate with Deans, faculty, IT and counselors to facilitate and improve services to students, including catalog and registration/records policy questions.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

About You

  • Experience :5-8 yrs Registrar related experience
  • worked as a Head registrar in health science college
  • qualification:  Bsc/Msc in computer science, statistics, mathematics or other related fields
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a registrar or enrollment management role in higher education (required).
  • Strong understanding of academic policies and procedures relevant to health science programs.
  • Experience with student information systems (SIS) and other relevant software programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and providing excellent customer service to students and staff.
