Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare an annual action plan and budget for the office.
- Prepare and submit work reports quarterly, bi-annually and annually.
- Organizes and administers the records, registration and graduation functions, including transcript evaluations, admissions and certification process in order to provide maximum service to students,
- Participates and serves as part of the Student Services Team.
- Supervises, coordinates, and evaluates certification of all graduation applications, while overseeing the complete graduation process to include all elements of the rehearsal and ceremony.
- Responsible for collecting, recording, maintaining and reporting of student records ,
- Provides leadership and develop appropriate recommendations for the implementation of related technology application in support of enhanced services offered through Registration and Records
- Develops and administers the budget of the registrar,
- Provides timely solution for student disputes related to records and registration,
- Collaborate with Deans, faculty, IT and counselors to facilitate and improve services to students, including catalog and registration/records policy questions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
About You
- Experience :5-8 yrs Registrar related experience
- worked as a Head registrar in health science college
- qualification: Bsc/Msc in computer science, statistics, mathematics or other related fields
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a registrar or enrollment management role in higher education (required).
- Strong understanding of academic policies and procedures relevant to health science programs.
- Experience with student information systems (SIS) and other relevant software programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and providing excellent customer service to students and staff.
