Job Description
- Responsible for drafting and preparing information and communication in
relation to the promotion and management of existing and new grant
rounds; - Responsible for the development of guidelines, criteria, application forms
and supporting documentation for established and new grant rounds - Responsible for liaising with other parties involved in the coordination and
implementation of the grant round, - Responsible for coordinating the assessment of grant applications
ensuring that all eligible applications are appropriately reviewed in a timely fashion within the framework; - Responsible for drafting, executing and the ongoing management of new
grant deeds and contracts - Responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of all grants to ensure
compliance with contractual obligations, including escalating issues of non-compliance and developing and implementing - Ensures sub-awardees Fixed Asset Registers are up to date and verifications are done on a regular basis and ensures staff follow grants management policies, standards and procedures.
- Commits to support all the efforts of the ODA to prevent and respond to SEA allegations: adhere to the ODAs code of conduct,
About You
Qualification, Experience and skills
Qualification:
- MA/BA in medicine, public health, health monitoring and evaluation, project management; with graduate degree (Masters) in Program management, finance, Financial management, Business, Economics management/Administration, and related;
Work Experience:
- For first degree holders at least Ten years; and for graduate /second degree holders eight -years of relevant experience with government; national or international organizations in Accounting, finance and accounting, Financial management, Business, Economics management/Administration, and related
Previous work in grant compliance and Finance tracking and reporting ; program performance management is preferred.
Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Amharic and Afaan Oromo;
- Work requires great flexibility and ability to adapt to a changing environment and the capacity to provide sound analyses and work under time pressure;
- Installation and using of Data base system and application relevant with accounting and finance;
