Ethiopian Center for Development (ECD), a nongovernmental organization, for its projects implementation currently seeks qualified candidates for driver/mechanic for technical position for a team based in Addis Ababa.

Position Scope

The purpose of Driver/Mechanic position is to provide driving services to authorized passengers, repairing and inspecting the condition of the vehicle from the body to engine, and give technical assistance.

Reports To: Finance and Administration Manager

Location: ECD Head Office

Number of Position:  One

• A grade 3 driving license and a minimum of 4 years of experience in Driver/Mechanic position.
• Completion of level 3 in auto mechanic from Vocational and Technical College
• Able to undertake general servicing of vehicles and diagnose faults.
• Ability to conduct minor repairs on vehicles
