Job Description
Doctors with Africa-CUAMM is an Italian NGO operating in Ethiopia running health[1]related projects in Wolisso, South Omo, Tigray, Addis Ababa, Gambella and Somali Regional state.
In the frame of the project “From Emergency to resilience: integrated path in support of vulnerable populations, refugee, displaced person and residents in the neighbouring areas of Aw-Bere and Bokolmayo (Somali Region State) – REVERSE” AID 12014/01/5, Doctors with Africa CUAMM is seeking an experienced Driver to be integrated with staff and support the project activities implementation in Awbere and Boklomayo woredas of the Region.
Job description
The driver reports to: Senior public Health officer and in his/her absence to the Accountant
Duty Station(s): Somali Regional state, Jigjiga Town with frequent field travel to Woredas of Awbere and Boklomayo.
Salary & benefits: according to CUAMM salary scale
Period: One year renewable.
Job Requirements
- At least five years’ of work experience is a must.
- Previous experiences with INGO is a plus.
- Be able to assure the routine maintenance of vehicles.
- To assure the vehicle cleanness.
- To be flexible.
- To have a valid driving license.
- To have a minimum competence in English.
- To be able to read and write in English
- Knowledge of the Local language /Somali language is A PLUS.
- To keep the daily vehicle log-book.
- To have a minimum competence in mechanics.
- To be mechanic is a plus.
