Job Description:
20% Effects approved cash payment, fuel coupons and materials from store
15% Handles cash collection and timely deposit in the bank
15% Prepares APs revolving fund replenishment
10% Prepares deposit voucher to record cash collection and deposits
10% Ensure proper reconciliation of physical count with bin cards and stock cards and report the results to the AP accountant regularly
10% As the cash custodian, he/she ensures safety deposit of financial assets, handles the material supplies according to the material management and finance guidelines of WVE
10% Report the likely risks to the store and properties therein before any damage occurs and report any damage or missing properties in the store immediately after incidence and seeks safe disposal as soon as possible.
5% Handles all bank matters except collecting check books, which have to be done by the accountants.
5% Assists the AP Finance Officer in canceling payment document, i.e. putting paid stamps on used receipts, invoices and rechecks the completeness of financial documents, approval signatures and attached financial documents
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Required Professional Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience on accounting and Finance in INGOs and for nonprofit business
- Able to motivate staff to achieve core results
- Experience with government grant regulations and financial reporting requirements
- Able to leverage key opportunities to mitigate business risks
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification,
- Vocational diploma in accounting or related field
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications,
- Excellent interpersonal skills – builds good relationships with internal and external stakeholders and maintain effective collaboration with all staff
- Rich experience communication
