Job Description
Serve as a liaison between Path Ministries International staff and government officers
Serve as PATH’s representative to the local government
Stay up to date on the relationship between the beneficiaries and PATH, including the assisting of monitoring and evaluation of progress of child and adult beneficiaries
Oversee and serve as a moderator for women’s Self Help Group weekly meetings
Report back to Country Director regarding progress and status updates of women’s Self Help Group meetings and status of their income generating activities
Assist social workers as necessary in data collection, beneficiary updates/school performance, beneficiary living condition updates, and other changes to beneficiaries’ status
Ensure that the preparation and implementation of case plans, referrals, and home visits conducted by the social workers is as scheduled
Job Requirements
Person Specifications
Diploma in Social Science or related field
3+ years’ experience
Ability to understand and respect the cultural, religious and political environment and to work well with staff and local authorities in a diplomatic manner
Good interpersonal skills and team player with sensitivity to cultural diversity
Competencies
Ability to interact with a variety of individuals in multiple settings including government officers and PATH beneficiaries
Ability to oversee/moderate adult beneficiaries self-help group meetings and provide guidance
