Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and update all accounts.
  • Perform month-end closing procedures.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Perform regular bookkeeping duties.
  • Determine fund availability in all the banks and perform month-end reconciliation
  • Track expenditures.
  • Prepare federal tax.
  • Established efficient bookkeeping procedures.
  • Maintains general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts; adjusting entries for amortizations prepaid; analyzing and accounts payable ledgers; preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals
  • Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with local financial legal requirements
  • Any other duties as required

Job Requirements

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum BA Degree in Accounting
  • 3 years of experience as an accountant in an Import and Export Environment
  • Extensive knowledge of Finance
  • Proficient in MS Office and spreadsheet preparation
  • Experience with Financial statement preparation and analysis

Skills

  • Ability to identify inefficiencies and present solutions
  • Solid analytical and creative thinking skills
  • Ability to problem solve
