Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and update all accounts.
- Perform month-end closing procedures.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Perform regular bookkeeping duties.
- Determine fund availability in all the banks and perform month-end reconciliation
- Track expenditures.
- Prepare federal tax.
- Established efficient bookkeeping procedures.
- Maintains general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts; adjusting entries for amortizations prepaid; analyzing and accounts payable ledgers; preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals
- Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with local financial legal requirements
- Any other duties as required
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum BA Degree in Accounting
- 3 years of experience as an accountant in an Import and Export Environment
- Extensive knowledge of Finance
- Proficient in MS Office and spreadsheet preparation
- Experience with Financial statement preparation and analysis
Skills
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and present solutions
- Solid analytical and creative thinking skills
- Ability to problem solve
